AI Training for Teams and Leaders

Hands-on AI training for your staff and your leadership, built around the tools you already have and the work your people already do — onsite across Iowa, or virtual anywhere.

Why Most AI Training Doesn't Stick

A license is not enablement. Most organizations have paid for the tools and run a session, and usage still drifts back to a few people.

One session, one level

A single presentation reaches the people already at the presenter's level. Beginners get lost, and your most advanced people learn nothing new.

Someone else's examples

Generic demos don't look like anyone's Tuesday. People learn fastest on the documents, meetings and systems they actually work with.

No time, no reason

If nobody has time to practice, or the only reward for working smarter is more work, the habit never forms. That part is leadership's to fix.

What We Run

Pick one, or put them together into a program. Every session is shaped around your people and your systems.

Leadership sessions

For owners, partners and directors: where policy belongs and where it doesn't, how to give people ownership of the change, and how to make improving worth their while.

Staff workshops

Hands-on practice with your approved tools, on real work: drafting, summarizing, preparing for meetings, learning something new, and knowing when not to use AI.

A proficiency census

A short, honest read on where each person is today, so training starts in the right place for each of them instead of the middle for everyone.

Coaching and office hours

Follow-up time for the questions that only come up once people are using AI in their own work, and for turning one person's win into something the team can use.

Built Around Where Your People Are

We use a simple, three-level AI Proficiency Scale. It's where someone starts, not a grade.

Beginner

Uses AI rarely, or with uneven results. Training starts with one useful thing, every day, from their own work.

AI Champion

Gets repeatable results that others use. Training turns their wins into something teammates can use without them.

Systems Builder

Redesigns the work itself, and knows when not to use AI. Training takes a whole process apart with the people who run it.

Who Teaches

Drew Bloom, Founder, Mosaic Solutions

Drew taught in Iowa public schools for five years before moving into automation consulting and leading innovation at Affinity. He teaches the way he taught then: one person at a time, hands on, starting from where each of them is. What he learns from your people one-on-one also shapes the advice he gives your leaders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer onsite AI training in Iowa?

Yes. We train onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, the Corridor and across Iowa, and we travel for the right engagement. Onsite works best for workshops where people practice on their own work together.

Can AI training be done virtually?

Yes. Every format runs online, from a single leadership session to a multi-week staff program. Virtual sessions come with a resource people keep, so the training keeps working after the call ends.

Which AI tools do you train on?

The ones you already have or are choosing between: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini, plus the AI built into the software you run. If you haven't chosen a platform yet, we help you weigh governance against what your people will be able to do with it.

Do you train leadership separately from staff?

Usually, yes. Staff need hands-on practice with their own work. Leaders need to decide what to standardize, what to leave to the people doing the work, and how to make it worth their while. We run both, and they work best together.

How is AI training priced?

Most of our work is hourly, pay-as-you-go. We don't pass through system or AI time in our bills: you'll only be charged for time that real people spent on the task. Tell us about your team and we'll send a proposal.
